2023: Inclusion in the register of domestic software
Skala^r December 27, 2023 announced the inclusion of the Skyler operating system in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases.
Skyler is based on OpenScaler OS, a localized version of the free openEuler distribution from the Russian independent developer community of the same name.
Our customers build end-to-end IT infrastructures using the capabilities of the modular Skala^r platform, which will be available on a cloud-based basis in the near future. The next vector of technological improvement is the native use of various hardware architectures in a modular platform: ARM, RISC-V, x86-64. Skala^r 's participation in the development of the Russian Linux distribution, based on the openEuler package base and supporting several computing architectures, is an important step in this direction, "said Petr Dubenskov, Director of Technological Innovations at Skala^r. |
Skyler is an enterprise-class operating system that contains components for diagnostics and fine-tuning of Machines (hardware and software systems) Skala^r and uses artificial intelligence technologies. They prevent critical situations, and if they appear, localize the original source of problems. This is especially true for large systems, where the time to identify the causes of failures is reduced significantly. The functional specialization of the Skala^r Machines allows optimizing the composition of the operating system components necessary for the operation of the supplied software and hardware, thereby increasing the reliability, performance and security of the complex.
The Russian open distribution OpenScaler is based on the product of the openEuler community, a community of operating systems developers in China. As of December 2023, openEuler occupies more than 35% of the server operating systems market and is a key operating system in China. An important feature of openEuler is native support for all major processor architectures, including x86, ARM, RISC-V, LoongArch and SW-64, as well as its applicability for a large range of scenarios.
